WHAT the H E double hockey sticks did I say???!??!!!?? You heard it right.. I am leaving…
After 7 years, all of the ups and downs we have had, all of the friendships I have made, all of the differences I tried to make I have decided to leave the bank.
Here is the story… I have joked and joked about wanting my own office and 40k a year and a plant. Well, on Sunday the friend I have joked with about me working for them finally came about. I received a call on Sunday wanting to know if I would be interested in a position with Loving Hearts. I laughed and joked with Joyce and she said at this time this is very serious and that they would love for me to come work with them. I would be the office manager, making sure all of the schedules and payroll was done along with a few office duties. They offered me great benefits and great pay!! No plant though…HAHAHAH
The big kicker here with this job is that I will also be allowed to cater more often. I am truly excited and feel I have made the best choice for me and my family.

OK… now on to other stuff… I have been reading blogs daily just have not posted. I don’t know about you but it seems when the seasons change and the hustle and bustle of families coming and going, working overtime to get that extra holiday money and or running kids here and there … people get depressed. I know, I do, to a point and I try so hard to keep a positive attitude and try not to take things out on others and everything. We all need to stop and smell the roses… or at this time of year look at the beautiful colors and the smells of cinnamon, vanilla, cookies baking, or wood burning in a fire place….the simple things in life that make us smile. We need to remember our friends and family and be there for them. Life is too short and just remember all of you, my favorite peeps… “I love you like a fat kid love chocolate cake” mwwwaauuuuh!!!

We love you just as much as the chocolate cake (especailly if it is you who made the cake!) Congrats on the new job, and don't you love how stuff just works out that way! Plus, you get to do catering, which all of our stomachs are happy about! As Zach would say, WOOOOO HOOOOO for you!

WOW!!! Isn't it AMAZING how things work out....don't you think it's guided by a higher power??!!! One door closes and a window is opened!!! AMAZING!!! I am soooo happy for you!! It sounds like THIS is the 'dream' job that you've been waiting for!!........WITH benefits!~!! double WOW!!! .........Yes, I fight the depression stuff this time of year, well, most ALL the time. It's a struggle for me sometimes to get through each hour, not just the day. But, I try really hard to keep my chin up and 'keep smiling'. (It helps that I'm medicated)!!! HA!!! But sometimes, the meds just aren't enough....so it's back to the 'fake it until you make it stuff'. I agree, about the simpler things in life right now. We all need to stop and enjoy the cooler weather....maybe look at the season with the eyes of a child. I think that's what I'm going to do....because otherwise, I think I'd just skip the whole holiday stuff. So, with the eyes of a child, I want a big piece of chocolate CAKE!!! XXOO

OK, I know I've never replied back to toooo many of the girls but I do read a lot every day. CONGRATS big time for the new job. It's a great time of the year to enjoy all of the sights and sounds of the holidays, especially everyone's favorite time of the year for you baking all of the goodies. Everything will turn out great, you'll see.
